Empty Egg

An Empty Egg - Easter time, we hear a lot of about eggs and egg hunts. Let's say you find an egg that is empty, as in an egg without a prize or anything in it. What does that represent?

In a past article, I talked about the broken egg. Just like an egg, it must be broken to be used.

Now let us look into the empty egg …

In this free printable, You’ve Been Egged! It tells you to hide 12 plastic eggs, leaving one of the eggs without anything in it, empty that is. Then, you will put this printable for the person you wish to find these eggs. In that printable, it tells you not to worry, when you come across the one special egg that is empty. It goes on to tell you why.

That egg that is empty with nothing in it, is just a simple reminder that the tomb was and still is empty. No bones about it, Jesus is Alive! We serve a risen Savior! So when you see an empty egg, let it remind you the tomb is empty and what Jesus done for us. He died to save us. He conquered sin and death!

Easter is a great time to invite people to church and share the gospel, well, I will back that up, all the time is a great time. It just seems more people share around Easter than any other time of the year.
