Amber Alert: Jesus Christ is Missing. There are two times in the Bible where Jesus Christ came up as missing in the Bible.
Amber Alert: Jesus Christ is Missing
An Amber Alert is an alert that is given when a child is missing so people can BOLO (Be on the Look Out) to help find that missing child. Jesus went missing from His parents once and then He went missing another time.
First Time
One of the times was when Jesus Christ as a young child, 12 years old, his parents, Mary and Joseph was looking for Him. They later found Him at the temple. His parents found him three days later. He was sitting and listening and asking questions to the teachers. See Luke 2:41-52.
Second Time
The other time, you guessed it! At the Tomb! Remember the tomb was empty. They thought Jesus was missing or His body stolen or taken. They were Searching for Christ! But, we know the truth! He is Alive! Jesus Christ is Risen! Learn more about that Resurrection Day.

So really, in both cases, Jesus Christ wasn’t missing! He was doing the Will of the Father. The same for today. People think Jesus Christ has left them. He went missing on them. The truth is, we are the ones that go astray from Him. He is the one seeking us!
We got out looking for Him as if He was missing.
