Guns Don’t Kill

Guns don’t kill people. People kill people. Guns are just one of the tools used to kill.

Guns Don’t Kill

With a gun, there is always a reaction from a person touching the gun. Yes, the can be dangerous. Yes, the can be fun too, if used correctly. They can also be used for the wrong reasons.

One thing I do know, not even a gun can proper against me. No weapon at that can.

“No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; And every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their vindication is from Me,” declares the Lord.

Isaiah 54:17 NASB

I know vengeance is the Lords. He will repay evil. Be sides if I died? I know where I am going. If you are born again, you can have the same assurance!

There is nothing wrong with owning a gun and using it for sport, hunting or defense. It is wrong to use a gun for gain or self gratification like theft, anger, etc.

Remember it isn’t the gun that kills, but the person behind the gun. That gun was just the instrument used in that killing process.

Back to the key verse used in this blog post. That really is saying if someone uses a weapon on us because of our faith, that weapon won’t win. It might seem like it on earth, however, we will gain our life with Christ. Those who lose their life for Him, will gain their life … There everlasting life!

Remember we have two destinations

  1. Heaven (those Born Again)
  2. Hell (Reject Christ)
