National Evangelism Day

National Evangelism Day. A day set aside to remind us the importance of evangelizing, witnessing. Actually, we should be doing this on a daily basis all the time!

National Evangelism Day

This day is held annually on Reformation Day and Halloween, October 31. Halloween makes a great time to witness. You have children coming to your door or your car trunk to get treats. This would be a great way to give them gospel tracts and a Gospel of John. We are called to Go and share the gospel to the world. What a great way to do it when people are out celebrating the darkness of Halloween.

Gospel Tract Man - National Evangelism Day

How many Christians just sit there and hand out candy or other trinkets and not hand out a Bible, Gospel Tract or even a Gospel of John. This is a day when the people come to you. Take advantage of it. Most of us don’t want to go to the people. Yet, when the people come to us, they don’t want to do it then either. Sad to say, that today Christians are afraid or ashamed to share the gospel to people.

Never underestimate the power of gospel tracts!

Just like you, everyone else is never promised tomorrow. Tomorrow or even the next moment could be our last or their last. Both you and them will have to answer to God! Did you do your part? Remember, everyone you could have witness to, we will have to be held accountable to God when we didn’t witness!

On October 31, I encourage you to hand out gospel tracts to the people that trick or treat at your home or business. Plus, you can do it when your church does Trunk or Treats! Plus, you can get free gospel tracts. I have a compiled list of sites that give free gospel tracts!
