You get teal when you mix blues and greens, making a deep blue-green color. My favorite color has been teal because, I like both blue and green colors. You can have Teal Green, mostly green in color or you can have teal blue, which is mostly blue in color. I tend to like the shade of teal that is more green in color.

Teal is known for ducks or waterfowls. You will hear Teal Hunting season.

I asked people on Facebook what they thought about when they see the color teal. There was only one response. That person responded with green.

Number of times used in the Bible

So I used biblegateway.com to look up how many times the word “Teal” was found in the Bible. Below is the number of times.

New King James Version (NKJV) – not found
King James Version (KJV) – not found
New International Version (NIV) – not found
Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB) – not found
English Standard Version (ESV) – not found

Just like in All Things Orange, the color teal was not found.

Lexicons for Teal

The same applies for Lexicons too. There was no Lexicons found for the color or word teal. So teal is not used in the Bible as well.
