I believe that is so true, we don’t need to worry what the world thinks, we are to worry what God thinks. God is with us! God is strong than anything, is the all power, creator, Father … He is EVERYTHING above all things!
What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
The above verse is from Romans 8:31 NIV.
Parable of the Prodigal Son
God will never leave us, we are the ones that leave God. The good thing is God is there waiting for us when we return. Just like the Parable of the Prodigal Son found in Luke 15:11-32. Below is the verse from Luke 11:20. This can prove how our Heavenly Father will welcome us back.
“But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.”
Parable of the Lost Sheep
Even the Parable of the Lost Sheep can show us God is always with us. A Shepherd has 100 sheep. One wanders off. He goes looking for the 1 sheep. Rejoices when he finds that one sheep. God will rejoice when one sinner repents than over the 99 that doesn’t repent. You can find those stories paralleled in Matthew 18:12-14 & Luke 15:3-7. Below is Luke 15:7 and it shows us how God will rejoice in Heaven.
I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.
Parable of the Lost Coin
In the same way the Parable of the lost coins works the same as the above parables. The woman loses her lost coin. She cleans house and finds the coin. When she finds this coin she calls her friends to have them rejoice. In same way God will rejoice when we confess our sins. The parable is found in Luke 15:8-10. Luke 15:10 shows us this.
In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
So no matter how far we go from God, he is always waiting there for us. God never changes, we do. He never leaves us, we leave him. If you have lost contact with God, come back to him. Repent of your sins and call upon Him. The old hymnal “Amazing Grace” comes to mind as I write this post.
I was once lost, but now I am found!
When we lose contact from God of ver from God, we seem out of touch with Him. We often feel he did leave us. But the Bible is God’s Holy word and it shows us he is always with us. So don’t worry is against you, focus on God and stay focused on God.
