I recently discovered one of the guest speakers is Pope Francis. I was looking forward to this event until I discovered this hidden truth inside Together 2016. Why are they allowing such twisted doctrinal person to speak at a Jesus event? Since I found this out, I figured I would share with others so they know and they are aware of it. It is said he is giving a video message, so he wont’ be live at the event.
The Unholy Pope Francis at Together 2016
“That Pope Francis would choose to speak into this historic day is a testament to the urgency and the need for followers of Jesus to unite in prayer for our nation and our world. We are humbled and honored by his involvement and are eager to share his invitation to Together 2016.”
“The times call for this moment,” said Nick Hall, founder of PULSE. “It is time to gather on a large scale and draw our attention back to where it really matters. Our hope and our help are found in Jesus, not in political leaders. We are going to come together, seek God, pray for our nation and pray for unity. Our goal is to gather as a unified front, seeking Jesus and change for our nation through prayer and worship.”
Allah and God are the same?
Pope Francis even gives shouts to Muslims, saying they are his brothers and sisters. He even says that Muslims and Christians worship the same God. That is FALSE! Allah is not God! In the Muslim faith, Allah has no son (Quran 17:111). So that clearly states that God of the Bible and Allah are not the same. The Bible shows that God does have a Son. He sent is Son to die for us. (John 3:16)
Failure of the cross?
In a speech to New York’s St. Patrick’s Cathedral he said this, ““We need to remember that we are followers of Jesus Christ and his life, humanly speaking, ended in failure, the failure of the cross.”
Yes, you saw that right, the cross was a failure? If I am not mistaking Jesus conquered both death and sin. He got the victory over Satan on the Cross. (1 Corinthians 15:55-57) In those Bible verses it clearly shows there was victory, not failure.
Prays to Mary?
Church saves you?
Pope Francis also says that Christians only exists inside the Roman Church, this is saying that a church or denomination saves you. The Bible clearly tells us otherwise. It says for those who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13 and Acts 2:21)
Jesus still on the cross?
If you notice with Catholic faith, where Pope Francis, is suppose to be representing, they still have Jesus on the Cross as the suffering and his death. Most Christian faiths have Jesus off of the cross because we know and celebrate a risen savior. We celebrate his Resurrection.
Do not be deceived
- Is Not Holy
- He is not the Father, God is the Father
- Not Infallible, The Pope is human like we are, He makes mistakes, He has the sin nature too!
- The Pope is not a substitute for Christ. There is only way to Heaven, it is not the church! It is only through the real and true Jesus Christ.
- He is not Biblical either. He picks and chooses and doesn’t even use the full spectrum of the Bible either.
- Is Not Peter’s Successor either
If you dig more and more, you will find many, many more false doctrines inside the theology and beliefs of Pope Francis. Don’t believe his lies! Test what Pope Francis or anyone with what the Word of God says in the Holy Bible.
Pope Francis is not holy or even a holy man, in my opinion, everything he says goes against the Word of God. He is not a man of God.I pray that maybe Together 2016 can change Pope Francis heart and he can clearly see the real Jesus Christ. I also pray that he won’t spread more lies about Jesus at this event in Washington, DC on July 16, 2016.
As far as I am concerned Pope Francis is a false prophet/false teacher. He does not represent what I believe. Nick Hall you allowing a false teacher to speak, makes me concerned for your theology and doctrines too. It is not wise to give the floor or stage to just anyone, let alone, someone that has false doctrine beliefs.
Together 2016 will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on July 16 at the National Mall in Washington, D.C. For more information on Together 2016, visit reset2016.com.
On Wednesday, July 6, 2016, I get a phone call. I ignore it as I don’t know the number, so it goes to voicemail. It is a representative, Jay Anderson, from Reset, the place doing Together 2016. He was replying to my concerns about the Pope speaking and this blog post.
He wanted to clarify the heart of it and the background. Anderson, claimed in this voicemail that he is not honestly speaking or sharing anything at Together. He said it was more of a promotional to encourage for people to come out and be a part of Together 2016. Anderson then went on to say that of course the gospel will be shared and they want as many people out and share with people that don’t know about Jesus. He asked me to call him back, I haven’t yet been able to return his call.
Even using Pope Francis to help promote this, still goes against what the message on Jesus Changes Everything. Using the Pope to promote your ministry gives the wrong message and the wrong input about what you are doing.
The message continued to go on to talk about how I wanted to hand out gospel tracts and such and he replies to that none of the ministry partners are having a booth or allowed to hand out anything. DC Parks are strict on what you can and can’t do, Anderson Stated. Stating that no booths or literature can be passed out on the mall.
He was giving me the heads up on it. You can listen to this voicemail by clicking below.
Oddly enough, their press release in the media section still shows Pope Francis as a confirmed speaker. In that same press release, it does say, Pope Francis invites American Youth to National Mall Event “Together 2016” with special video invitation. Plus, as quoted above from Nick Hall, “That Pope Francis would choose to speak into this historic day”. This tells me that Pope Francis is going to speak. He may not be at the event, but he will speak, I am sure it will be done via the big screen.
Update: July 16, 2016, Joseph Willingham tweeted me he only sent a video message. Nevertheless, still a wrong person to represent a movement you are representing.
2 Timothy 3:5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
