Forgive our Trash Baskets quote

Trash baskets what does that have to do with a Christian Blog?

Forgive our Trash baskets quote

On the March 11, 2012 A.M. Sermon at Piedmont Baptist Church by Pastor Bob Neal he said this quote that came from a small child.

Forgive our trash basket and forgive those who put trash in our baskets.

With this analogy we can call the trash sin. This comes from Lord’s Prayer. Found Matthew 6:9-13, see below.

The key to this is forgiveness. Check out this blog post on forgiveness. As in verse 12, shown below in the Lord’s Prayer. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.” You can say the trash is debt.

Matthew 6:9-13 New King James Version (NKJV) – The Lord’s Prayer

In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
