7 Days in Utopia (Trailer & Review)

7 Days in Utopia is a faith-based movie. The setting is in Utopia, TX. This movie has a golf and country/ranch type setting. Some of the movie was filmed in Fredericksburg, TX with a 98 minute running time.

I got to watch it in black and white, because where I watched it their DVD was messed up, but I actually think it made a bigger impact being in b&w because reminded me of an old movie and besides with the setting be a country type setting, it just added to the effect.

I think this movie almost reminds me of the Karate Kid and how A boy was taught karate by doing certain things. However in 7 Days in Utopia the young man learns to play golf by doing certain things. Find out how stranded Luke Chisholm find his game by the help of a local rancher by spending 7 days in Utopia. Can Luke control his emotions as he learns a new approach to golf or will the town folk run him off?

Once you been to Utopia, nothing will ever be the same anymore.

I actually enjoyed this movie very much and I believe that you will enjoy this movie too.

The film is based on the book Golf’s Sacred Journey: Seven Days at the Links of Utopia by Dr. David Lamar Cook. It was released September 2, 2011. So I got to see it almost 3 years later.

The movie ends with Luke putting the ball. If he made it, he wins! But the movie left you hanging! It actually pointed you to a web site that points you to a sequel. So we just might see it then.

But honestly does it really matter if he made it or not?
