You can usually score a free donut or two. Maybe discounts on donuts. National Donut Day is also a day to score feee donuts! That all depends if you go to one place or more. That depends on what places near you are participating. Most of these are based on limited supply. So go early!

  • 7-Eleven
  • Dapper Doughnut
  • Duck Donuts
  • Dunkin’ Donuts
  • Honey Dew Donuts
  • Krispy Kreme
  • Lamar’s
  • Shipley Do-Nuts
  • Stripes
  • Tim Horton’s
  • Voodoo Doughnuts
  • Some gas stations too
  • Some grocery stores

Some places may also require the use of their app or your value card or reward card.

You could also check with your local donut shop, as they might be offering a special that would involve a free donut. You can use this take to take your family or youth group out and all get a free donut. Maybe you can share some Bible verses too. I have found some bible verses for donut (Do Not). Not all places participate. Some are subject to change without notice.

Do you have a place near you that gave away a free donut or is giving them away? Please share below.

Donuts in the Bible

Did you know there are Donuts in the Bible?

Not literally a donut we eat, but the words Do Not or it may be Don’t.

Donut* be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. Galatians 6:7 NKJV

Donut* be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. James 1:16-17 NKJV

Donut* worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Philippians 4:6 NLT

But donut* just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. James 1:22

“Donut* judge others, and you will not be judged. Donut* condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven. Luke 6:37 NLT

And donut* be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2 NKJV

“Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. The one who does good is of God; the one who does evil has not seen God.”

3 John 1:11

There are more but these are just some of the ones you will find.

*Now the Bible doesn’t say Donuts, I am using a play on words. Do Not is similar to the word Donut. First published June 5, 2015. Last republished or updated June 2, 2023.
