The Holy Bible the Official Book of Tennessee – According to the Associated Press the state House has passed a bill that made the official state book of Tennessee, the Holy Bible. It won by a vote of 55-38 on Wednesday, April 15, 2015. It was a measure that was proposed by Republican Jerry Sexton, former pastor from Bean Station, TN.

This got over turned April 16, 2015. It came back up for vote in April 2016. It passed the vote again. Now to wait for the governor to sign it into a bill.
