Flag Day

Flag Day observed in America on June 14 each year. This is the day were we honor flags. It is mainly designed to honor the adoption of the flag of the United States of America in 1777.  It wasn’t until 1916, President Woodrow Wilson proclaimed a holiday, however it wasn’t established until 1949 as National Flag Day. Flag Day is not a federal holiday either. (WikiPedia)

Of course the above is just a small sample. There are many, many types of flags. Flags from other states, countries, company flags, etc.

Not to mention, the Scout Oath and Scout Law recited to the Boy Scouts of America Flag.
