Kryptonite Is Like Sin – Did you know that Kryptonite is like sin. If you ever watched Superman. You know that Kryptonite weakness Superman, it gets rid of his strength. #Kryptonite

Kryptonite Is Like Sin

Well, sin does the same thing to us. Sin weakness us. It separates us from God. God is the one who gives us our strength. We can do all things through Christ. But when we sin, that sin weakness us. It separates us from God and keeps us from doing what God needs us to do.

One thing we need to do is also determine what is our weakness. Work on trying to eliminate that weakness, that Kryptonite that keeps us away from God. If we are to live a holy, Christ-like life, we must be more Christ like and not live in open sin. Yes, we are not sinless like Christ is, but we should strive to sin less.

Isaiah 59:2

But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear.

Philippians 4:13

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Matthew 19:26

But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

These are just a few Bible verses to show that we need God. God strengthens us and sins separates us from God.

Let’s try to avoid those things that weaken us. Strive to sinless and not intentionally sin (living in open sin) so that we are not separated from God and so we can maintain our strength with God. Sin destroys our relationship with God. We cannot fully communicate to Him in prayer, fellowship, worship, etc. We must repent and confess our sins right away to be fully restored. When you do you will feel a weight lifted off, you will fill the Kryptonite if you will has been removed from you.

Remember the last three hours when Jesus was on the Cross? God couldn’t look on His Son, Jesus because Jesus was taking the sin of the world upon Him. Complete darkness also came over the land. Jesus knew God wasn’t present then too. He cried out, “My God, My God why hath thou forsaken me.”

Sin is what separates us from God. Isaiah 59:2, shown above. When we get in fellowship with God and trust in Him. All things are possible.  Matthew 19:26 & Mark 10:27. This shows we need God to do ALL things, if we do it on our own and in a sinful way, it will weaken us. Just like Kryptonite did to the fictional, not real, Superman.
