Pi something we remember from math. Did you know there is a Pi Day based on the value of Pi? (π)
π Pi Day

March 14 is known by math people as Pi Day. Pi rounded is 3.14 thus March 14 being the day. We are not taking about Pizza Pie’s or fresh baked pies like Apple Pie or a Strawberry Pie. But the math numbers. I am not much of a math person, but I wanted to share about today. Maybe a great day to take your family out for pizza a lot of pizza places are giving out specials today. Maybe even restaurants may have have specials on pie desserts on Pi Day. Call them and check what they have!
(π) Pi is actually 3.14159265359. Pi is also the 16th letter in the Greek alphabet, seen above if you have the correct font or even on the graphic clipart I found online with the pizza. The Math Pi does deal with a circle too. Maybe that is why we call Pizza, a Pizza Pie or even Fruit Pies too. Just added a letter E. I don’t know really, just sounded good. No matter, take time and spend it with your family. Remember to pray over your food and thank God for the blessing.
In 2015 had a special Pi Day. Check it out March 14, 2015 at 9:26:53 Look at above at the actual Pi Numerical numbers.
In 2016. Also had a special Pi Day. March 14, 2016 since Pi can be rounded to 3.1416. 3 for March, 14 for the 14th Day. And 16 for the year. Neat eh?
Some people celebrate this day by having a Pizza Pie or Dessert Pie! But Dessert Pie Day is another day!

In engineering school, I led a chemical engineering “revolt.” We would use 3.14159 instead of 3.14. It drove our professors crazy. To combat our misbehaving, one professor insisted that we use a slide rule to prevent us from using too many significant digits. Fun times. I might by a cherry pie on the way home from teaching Sunday school to celebrate.
Very interesting story. Thank you for sharing that Mark. Thank you for sharing. Enjoy the Cherry Pie! God Bless.
