Followers of deism typically believe in a non-personal, impersonal god who created the universe but does not intervene in its affairs.
Bible deism extends this notion to emphasize that the Bible is the principal means through which God communicates with humanity, and thus, it should be central in shaping Christian beliefs and practices.
At the heart of Bible deism is a reverence for the authority and inspiration of scripture. Adherents of this perspective often hold a high view of biblical inerrancy, seeing the Bible as infallible and free from error in its original manuscripts.
