Autumn, God’s Colorful Creation Displayed

Autumn, God’s Colorful Creation Displayed … This time of year, Autumn brings another season change for us. The leaves begin to fall and turn beautiful colors. You can see the power of God and His creation in this time of change. Fall and Spring are my favorite seasons, I would have to say. Even with my seasonal allergies. It’s not too hot, nor is it too cold.

Autumn God's Colorful Creation Displayed

I saw this cute graphic of Snoopy and Woodstock, in 2014, with some autumn leaves falling and leaves in the basket. I was thinking of something clever to say like a poem or that, that is when this popped right in my head … Check out what I said …

Autumn, God’s Colorful Creation Displayed

Just like we have seasons to live by, Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring, we also have seasons in our lives spiritually too. (See Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 below) No matter what we are going through, it is all temporary. (Also see 2 Corinthians 4:1 & Romans 8:18) But, not matter the season we are in, we must do everything as if we are working for the Jesus. (See Colossians 3:23 & Ephesians 6:7)

There is always a time for every purpose under heaven

1 A time for every purpose under heaven:
A time to be born,
And a time to die;
A time to plant,
And a time to pluck what is planted;
A time to kill,
And a time to heal;
A time to break down,
And a time to build up;
A time to weep,
And a time to laugh;
A time to mourn,
And a time to dance;

A time to cast away stones,
And a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace,
And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to gain,
And a time to lose;
A time to keep,
And a time to throw away;
A time to tear,
And a time to sew;
A time to keep silence,
And a time to speak;
A time to love,
And a time to hate;
A time of war,
And a time of peace.

I am not giving the other verses as I did for Ecclesiastics, because I want to encourage you to take out your own Bibles and read it for yourself. Don’t take my word for it. Read and Study for yourself.

So allow God to use you in the season that you are in!

Allow God to show the beautiful colors he has for you. If you are willing God will use you in a mighty and powerful way. It might not be the way we want, but it will be the way He wants. He might not reveal the whole package, but in baby steps He will. Let God use you today.
