The Greatest Gift Ever!

The Greatest Gift Ever

The Greatest Gift we all try to search for it  when we buy a gift for someone especially during Christmas time. We try to figure out what the best gift is to give someone. In reality the greatest gift ever has already been given to each and everyone of us.

What is the greatest gift ever given?

  • Car?
  • Movie?
  • Home?
  • Toy?
  • Electronics?
  • Money?
  • Jewelry?
  • Etc.?

I will say none of these and nor will be anything else that has ever been given other than the the one that was given to us. The Greatest Gift Ever Given was a gift from God! God gave us His Best. He sent us His Son, Jesus Christ to die for our sins.

I would have to say the greatest gift ever given is the gift that God gave us. See John 3:16 below. clearly states what the greatest gift ever given was. Jesus came, was born of a virgin. Jesus came knowing He would become the final sacrificial lamb on the Cross. Even the gifts from the Magi, Wisemen, gave Jesus gifts you would give to a person at a funeral.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

What more could we ask for? God has given us the greatest gift ever. Thank you Heavenly Father for sending your son to die for our sins. We are not worthy of this gift but you gave it to us anyway. We only have to accept this precious gift of His Son’s blood that would give us eternal life with Him.

Not only should we celebrate His birth at Christmas, we should celebrate that He came into the World to save the World. (See Matthew 1:21)

Since God gave us His Best, He gave us the greatest gift ever. Since He done that what is the best gift we can give Him? We can give him our whole selves and serve Him and do his will. We were bought with a price. (See 1 Corinthians 6:20 & 1 Corinthians 7:23)

But there is nothing that can compare to the gift that God gave us. That is greatest gift ever given. Remember to thank God for sending His son to die for our sins.

It’s not about the presents we get that will fade away.

It’s about His presence that is eternal and not the presents we get. We will get to dwell with Him in Heaven.

Not only was Jesus the greatest gift ever, but He was the first wrapped gift too.
