Great Pumpkin Trunk or Treats – my wife and I dressed up and set up as Linus and Sally from The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. #GreatPumpkin
Great Pumpkin Trunk or Treats
We handed out toys and trinkets along with a gospel tract. We do toys and trinkets because of the the many food allergies, which is called the Teal Pumpkin Project.
My wife is a very big Snoopy, Peanuts fan and we have been trying to plan this special trunk or treats theme for some time now, since we haven’t been able to do it these last couple of years.

I had fun doing this, we set up at a local small business near us. I waved at drivers passing by and holding my Welcome Great Pumpkin sign. We did have a good turnout with only a few cars set up. But they did have things inside for the family.
We did ask a lot of the kids if The Great Pumpkin was coming and if we had the most sincere pumpkin patch. Most of the kids said ye and smiled A couple kids wasn’t sure who we were or talking about.
However, one kid, dressed up like an inspector detective (like if a Sherlock Holmes), explained to me. “No!” He is not real.
We handed out a lot of The Great Pumpkin Gospel Tract (shown below) by the Bezeugen Tract Club.
We also handed out some of the curbed illustration tracts (shown below) from Living Waters.
In the past we have always done a Pirate Themed Trunk or Treat. So what should we do next? We thought maybe next year instead of Linus and Sally, maybe Charlie Brown and Lucy.
Maybe we might do Stitch and Angel from the Lilo & Stitch series.
Who knows, one year we might do the Reverse Trunk or Treats.
What Trunk or Treat themes have you all done?
