“D’oh!” is a catchphrase used by the fictional character Homer Simpson, from the television series The Simpsons, an animated sitcom. It is an exclamation typically used after Homer injures himself, realizes that he has done something stupid, or when something bad has happened or is about to happen to him.

In 2006, “D’oh!” was listed as number six on TV Land’s list of the 100 greatest television catchphrases.

Sometimes the apostrophe is not on the word and shown as Doh.

Basically it is an annoyed grunt. A saying you would say when you got annoyed, hurt yourself or done something wrong.

I guess we all can say D’oh to sin! Sin is annoying and it hurts us and others around us, just because we did something wrong. We didn’t hit the mark!

The good news is that Jesus came to heal us. He came to take away that feeling of hurt. He died to save!

I’m so glad that when glory comes in we are in Heaven. there is no more pain, suffering, sorrow or even sin. We will no longer be hurting ourselves or others. Not to mention we will not be annoyed with ourselves anymore. So this word, D’oh, will no longer being exist for us in Heaven. There will be no more sin (missing the mark)! We don’t be annoyed either!

Those in torment of hell, I am sure will be using this word a lot! D’oh! Why did you warn me! D’oh! That burning hurts!
