No Armor in the Back in the Armor of God – Even the Roman Soldiers didn’t have armor in the back. They were trained and knew you couldn’t flee or retreat. They had to continue and press forward in the battle no matter the cost.

No Armor in the Back
There’s no armor in the back that tells us we are not to retreat! We cannot flee from the devil. The Bible tells us the devil must flee from us. James 4:7 This shows us we must give up our life for Jesus. Deny ourselves and take up our cross daily. Matthew 16:24. also tells us in both Matthew and Luke, that if we lose our life for Him, we will gain our life. We are in spiritual warfare. One that is not seen. There is a battle always going on. We cannot retreat or flee from the battle either! We must press on!
The complete Armor of God protects us from the front as we are moving forward into battle. Like the song I remember singing a child, “Onward Christian Soldiers.”. See the lyrics to that song below.

Pressing on
Not only do we need to wear the Full Armor of God, but we cannot retreat or flee from the devil. Remember the devil has to flee from us. But no matter the battle we face, we must keep on, keeping on. That means we must press forward. We cannot run the other way. When we run the other way, that is when we get attacked. We are vulnerable in the back with no armor.
Besides, if we are pressing forward we are showing we totally surrendered to God’s Will and trust in Him and Him alone. We know that He will see us through. So keep advancing forward! Do not flee, retreat or surrender to the devil. Besides, Christ won the battle! It is a fixed battle you can say. So we won’t lose!

Your assumption is incorrect that the armor does not protect the back.
Even a little research will show that the Roman soldier was well protected in the back. This has nothing to do with fleeing, The soldier in the thick of battle will tell you attacks come from all directions, not just the front.
Furthermore, Satan is not a gentleman, he ambushes and attacks from the back as well.
Finally, would the Lord leave us unprotected if we do flee in fear, or are outnumbered vastly? How does that fit the picture of a loving God?
Think, my friend, do your research and you will find that an inaccurate message does more harm than good.
I know you have no desire to misrepresent the Lord.
