A Bridge Over Water

A Bridge Over Water - another way of saying water under the bridge. This is a creative writing prompt about an image of water and a bridge.

It reminds me of an old saying, what may be over our head, is just under His Feet.

As Jesus Christ can walk on water! If we are sinking in the water, He will come and pull us up like Peter.

If we are on the bridge, we are taking the high ground and not in the water. Padre’s Ramblings used this prompt for Water Under the Bridge. That is why I did a bridge over water. Something different.

Nonetheless, if we are on the bridge, in the water or anywhere else at that, when we accept Jesus, our sins are forgiven to be remembered no more in the sea of forgetfulness. So we don’t want to linger on the bridge looking at the water under the bridge, nor do we want to linger in the water looking at the bridge over the water.

I know I may have wrote over 150 words in this challenge, but it is what came to me.

This is a creative writing prompt from Crispina Kemp. It is Crimson’s Creative Challenge #81. Where they shared a photo, the one in this post, and you had to do creative writing on it.
