Ten Codes are used with emergency personnel like Police, Fire, Paramedics, Etc. Even the military too. The most common one is 10-4. As you guessed it this day is held annually on October 4. Since October is the 10th month. (Did you know it use to be the 8th month?).

10-4 Can mean Copy That, Roger That, Heard You, It is just a form on acknowledgment via the radio, a walkie-talky type of communication. This Day is also known as National CB Radio Day.

The first Ten-Four Day was in October 4, 1978 and was done by a proclamation by President Jimmy Carter.2018, marked the 40th anniversary.
