Room for Jesus? – This is a church sign from Jefferson City where we must be like the innkeeper and decide if we have room for Jesus.
Do you have room for Jesus? Church Sign
This church sign reminds me of the song by Donna & Carroll Roberson called Do You Have Room For Jesus? This church sign is from Jefferson City Assembly of God off Old Andrew Johnson Highway. I saw this and wanted to share with my readers.
Each of us is an innkeeper who decides if there is room for Jesus. I think with priorities today, people don’t make room for Jesus. You will make room for what is important to you. As part of that song says …
We Make Room For Things We Like.
Christmas Trees and Strings of Lights.
But Just Like Christmas So Long Ago.
Jesus is left out in the cold.

This comes from the Christmas Story, found in Luke 2. This takes us to verse 7.
Luke 2:7 King James Version (KJV)
7Â And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
I hope you make time for Jesus in study, reading the Bible, prayer, worship, fellowship and all. Put Him First! Don’t put Him second or last! Don’t leave Jesus out in the cold! Make room for Him in your inn. Seek Ye the Kingdom of God AND His Righteousness and all things will be added onto you. Note the AND. When we seek both of these are are seeking out the will of God and not our own desires.
