People see God every day they just do not recognize Him

People see God every day they just do not recognize Him - We are made in the image of God, that is the likeness of God. Want to know what God looks like then look at each other!

I guess some people don’t think about that part that we are made in the image of God. That is just one way that people see God but do not recognize Him. You see Him in creation too!

So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

Genesis 1:27

God created us for Him! We were made by God. God don’t make junk either! If someone is making fun of you for the way you look, they are actually making fun of God, since we are created in His image. Think about that one! Ouch! That hurt, I am sure we all have made fun of someone that looked different than us. Plus, that also means we are making fun of God’s creation! Another Ouch!

Another way people can see God in us and might not recognize Him is in the good works that are produced in us through the Lord Jesus Christ. Anything good in me, is not me, it is Jesus Christ. We are all sinful. When we do good, that is God working in us. Often people see that but don’t know God is behind that.

Plus, most people usually don’t see the good, they only see and remember the bad things we do.

How else do people see God every day that they just do not recognize Him?

Knowing Christ Today by Dallas Willard — Willard’s work confronts a critical issue in modern Christian thought: the separation of Jesus’ teachings from what is considered genuine knowledge. He argues that this division has led to a catastrophic misunderstanding of what it means to know Christ and live according to His teachings. The book’s aim is to reestablish the core teachings of Christianity—often referred to as “Mere” Christianity—as a substantial and recognized form of knowledge¹[1].
