Making Eye contact is important. When you are talking to someone, you need to have that contact to show you are listening to them and it can show confidence respect in your social communication.

When you make eye contact you are looking into the eyes of the other person, and they are doing the same to you.

In some cases, this can creep someone out. Sometimes it can make the other person feel uncomfortable. People believe that if you look into another persons eyes, you can read their insides.
