I saw this image on Facebook, not sure who made it. It was on Cumberland Gap Baptist Association. I could not find who first quoted this.

While looking I did find a similar quote from Dwight L Moody aka DL Moody

Church Attendance is as vital to a disciple as a transfusion of rich, healthy blood to a sick man.

DL Moody (Dwight L Moody)

After all, we are told that we are not to neglect fellowship with fellow believers. That can also mean in a pandemic. However, during a pandemic, assembly with fellow believers can be done in different ways. Are you missing out on fellowship?

Not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

Hebrews 10:25 NASB

Zoom, Virtual, In Person and the list can go on and on. I think some churches are already doing those. Even Some Assembly is required. We cannot grow, learn on our own. We need each other. We need each other more than ever. Unity! Not divided. The devil wants us divided.

Think of it this way, when we are in Heaven, we will be in church for the rest of our eternity. Sadly, if you do not like church now, you won’t like Church in Heaven!

However, we will line up for the newest iPhone or a sporting event, but neglect going to church. We won’t even line up to go inside to church if we had to.

Check out this list of 15 reasons to go to church!

Where we go instead of church, can show where our priorities are.

Another thing to think about, would you want Jesus to Return doing what you are doing, over going to church?

Yes! I do know there are circumstances of things that can prevent us from going or watching online, etc. I mean for the ones we can control and purposely miss.

  1. You know that. You feel it every day. So do I. But sometimes we make it harder than it needs to be. I love talking to church leaders about their ministry. At some point, the conviction came to me that church was a non-negotiable. What’s more than this is that I came to believe church attendance.

    1. It also comes down to priories, what we put before Church, or even Christ is what is more important to us. I am glad though that Christ doesn’t neglect us, like we often neglect church.
