I think they would spend it napping and drinking hot cocoa. I know on my day off I enjoy naps.

Maybe he will go snowboarding down Laughter Mountain. That is the happening snowboard and skiing area at the North Pole.

This elf, his named not disclosed for privacy reasons, decides to take a snowmobile up Dare Devil Mountain. That is the steepest decline on the other side. He wanted to feel the thrill of skiing down it. He said that Laughter Mountain was a joke. He wanted something real.

Santa Claus always warned the elves to never ski down Dare Devil Mountain. It is the most dangerous slope in the world.

He proceeded to go up Dare Devil Mountain on the snow mobile. He reaches the summit. He then puts on his snowboarding equipment and looks down the slope. He said this will be much fun!

He then pushes his way off the slope and boom, almost faster than than the speed of light he was going down the slope. He just kept going, almost like the Energizer Bunny. He ended up stopping about 15 miles from Santa’s Workshop.

He had to radio for help to come and get him. So a team of Emergency Elves had to come to his aid.

When Santa found out. He made him hike all the way up Dare Devil Mountain to fetch the snowmobile and bring it back to the Snowmobile Dock.

He wasn’t allowed to go skiing or snowboard for a very long time. Plus, he wasn’t allowed to check out anymore snowmobiles without prior authorization.

I think he learned his lesson the hard way. Just like most of us!

  1. This is such a nice story! I love snowboarding and skiing so it reminded me of wanting to go down the steepest hill for the thrill and the speed. Was this story based on a personal snowboarding experience?
