Dead battery can’t jump a dead battery

Two examples here. You try to start your car and it won’t start. You will need a jump from another car. That car’s battery must be good and charged in order to jump that dead battery. If the other car’s battery was dead, it wouldn’t be able to start either of the cars.

The other one is those portable chargers. If you didn’t charge it, it won’t be able to charge your mobile device such as a phone or tablet. If you forgot to charge it and plugged your mobile device in, it won’t start up or charge since that is dead.

The moral is, if we feel we are drained and our battery is dead and needs a jump, we must plug into the source of a full battery. Jesus is that source!

That is why fellowship with other believers is important. This can help charge us. Spending time with Jesus in prayer, Bible Reading and devotion can help charge us too.

We must spend time with him to be charged. If we don’t, we will stay drained or keep a dead battery. Let Jesus charge you today! Plug into Jesus!
