Where were you when the world stop turning
that September day?

2017 marks the sixteenth anniversary of the attacks on America. I was living in Gaylord, Michigan working at Star Publications. We had an associate that always like to tell us the news. She came to the back, where our department is. She informed us about what was going on. Our work had to continue because we were on deadline. We had a classified paper to get out actually a couple of them. So another coworker went home and brought in their TV. They placed the TV you right above my work station. So I got to see most of all of the news that was going on from that station we watching!

That day seem to never wanted to end. It almost seems like the attacks for gonna continue on and on and on.

9-11 - Where were you when the world stop turning that September Day?x

My thoughts, prayers and heart goes out to all the victims and families affected by this tragic event. Many thanks to all of the military, police, paramedics, firefighters and everyone else who has helped during this event and those who continue to help to keep our freedom and keep us safe from tragic events such as this.

  1. WHERE WERE YOU ON 9/11?

I was a few blocks from the Pentagon in Washington DC that fateful morning. I felt the impact when the terrorists crashed the plane. I had a clear view of the Pentagon on fire and remember the clouds of black smoke rising.

Ironically, I was participating in an intelligence community workshop on “nefarious uses of emerging technologies” – when we were suddenly told about the attacks in New York.

At first we thought this was part of the workshop, some kind of exercise to spark a discussion. But then the news & cell phone calls confirmed the reality and then we felt & heard the impact at the Pentagon, so close to our location.

The moderator solemnly announced that the workshop was cancelled, saying, “No need for this workshop. Everything we were going to discuss has already happened.”

Shortly after 9/11 I participated in meetings to help the government identify national assets that needed to be secured against future terrorist attacks.

It is painful to recall 9/11 but we should also recognize that 9/11 occurred after Bill Clinton tried to assassinate Osama bin Laden twice – and missed – with airstrikes in the Sudan and Afghanistan. The second airstrike killed dozens of Bin Laden’s staff, and he took revenge on 9/11 in a carefully planned nefarious plot that killed 3,000 innocent people.

This is why I am so vocal in my frustration and anger that President Obama & Hillary Clinton allowed ISIS to flourish for so many years. Today Obama’s lack of commitment and weak leadership has allowed ISIS to expand to 21 countries, created an Islamic exodus to Europe, destabilized the entire Middle East, allowed ISIS to keep recruiting and radicalizing jihadists online, and enabled attacks in Orlando, San Bernardino, Paris, Brussels etc.

I know firsthand what horrors occur when we fail to eradicate evil. Obama had a chance to stop ISIS years ago but didn’t do this. Obama’s military has been fighting ISIS longer than we fought the Nazis in World War II.

It doesn’t make sense to me that Hillary Clinton allowed ISIS to flourish unchecked for years and now 2 months before the election she says she will fight ISIS. She will help solve the problem she helped create? I know another 9/11 is possible because ISIS now exists in 21 countries. I can’t give Hillary another chance to do what she failed to do as Secretary of State, when her foreign policies destabilized the world.

This is the PRIMARY reason I’m voting for Donald Trump. I know he will forcefully lead the fight against ISIS which Obama & Hillary failed to do.
