Theophobia – Fear of god or religion


Theo is Greek pertaining to God or religion. Phobia is Greek for Fear. This fear is similar and related to Zuesophobia and is often caused by Homilophobia. If you can’t tell already, I am doing a series on Christian Phobias.

Theophobia - Fear of god or religion

In this fear people will fear a god or God or even religion. This fear again is not the reverent type of fear either. It is the kind that you avoid everything because you are so afraid.
