The True Grinch is …. Satan! He didn’t want Christmas to come, but guess what? IT DID! #Grinch
The True Grinch
Dr. Suess’s The Grinch, a green guy that wanted to still Christmas. He is a fictional character from 1957. He wasn’t friendly or anything, but that all changed one night! However, I want to share with you about the True Grinch. Which was the first Grinch … Satan!
He tried to steal the first Christmas. He tried to kill the baby boys to prevent the Messiah from being born. There are plenty of other ways Satan tried to prevent the birth too. If you remember the Inns (hotels in that day) had no room. It was census time and people had to come to their home city for that. The only place they could find was a stable, a manager. Yet, Jesus was still born!
So the True Grinch, known as Satan …
He couldn’t stop Christmas then either. It just came according to God’s plan. Satan on the other hand isn’t fictional and still couldn’t stop Christmas. That just shows that God was in control then and God is still in control now. He will always be in control!
There is the original How the Grinch Stole Christmas, then the one with Jim Carey and now the newest one from 2018. I have to say that newest one is my favorite.
Christmas cannot be stopped nor stolen! (blog post on that coming soon!)
