Not sure why but I felt I should share about this. So here we go. This will be this weeks Christian Music Monday feature blog post.
“Buy me a boat” and “Build me a boat” are two different requests that someone can make, with different implications and consequences.
“Buy me a boat” implies that the person wants you to purchase a pre-existing boat for them, either as a gift or as a request. This request suggests that the person may not have the means to purchase a boat themselves or may not want to spend their own money on it.
On the other hand, “Build me a boat” implies that the person wants you to construct a boat for them. This request requires a certain level of skill and effort, and may take a significant amount of time and resources to complete. This request suggests that the person may not have the ability or resources to build the boat themselves or may not want to do it themselves. They are asking for you to build it with them.
Overall, the difference between “Buy me a boat” and “Build me a boat” is that the former involves purchasing an existing boat, while the latter involves constructing a boat from scratch.
Buy me a boat
The song “Buy Me a Boat” was written by Chris Janson and Chris DuBois. Chris Janson is an American country music singer and songwriter. So both ways a person ends up with a boat. But in the Bible God didn’t tell Noah to buy a boat but to build a boat. So he acted out on faith and built the Ark.
