One of my favorite seasonal drinks has it’s day!

Held annually on December 24th each year. This drink now has it’s own holiday. You can only find this drink near Christmas time. Just after Halloween and until the New Year. It is a bit pricey to drink. I like adding a touch of cinnamon to mine.

It has been called a milk punch or egg milk munch. This holiday drink is a very rich milk drink. It is also very creamy too. Usually made with milk, cream, sugar, whipped egg whites or even egg yolks. The egg yolks often give it the texture it has.

Sadly some people add alcohol to theirs. I don’t do that. I don’t drink alcohol at all. You can buy the store brand. I believe Mayfield’s is the best, however, it is the most expensive. Food City’s brand of Eggnog is good too. Vanilla, Pumpkin Spice and Cinnamon are examples of flavored eggnog you can find. Some people even make homemade eggnog. I tried to make it one time, it tasted nasty. So I just stick to store bought. Maybe, I didn’t make it right!

I wished Eggnog was available year round! I enjoy it that much. Call me weird!

BTW, try some Eggnog French Toast! After all French Toast is made with an egg mixture. So why not?

Do you like Eggnog?

Do you add cinnamon or nutmeg? How about the other flavored variants? Maybe you add other flavors to yours.Your comments are welcome!

I remember leaving Eggnog for Santa along with his cookies.

The End of an Era: Redbox Shuts Down All Kiosks — In a move that marks the end of an era, Redbox, the iconic DVD rental service, is shutting down all of its kiosks. This decision comes as part of a Chapter 7 bankruptcy liquidation by its parent company, Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment¹². For over two decades, Redbox has been a familiar sight at grocery stores, convenience stores, and Walmarts across the United States, offering a convenient way to rent movies and games. However, the rise of digital streaming services has significantly impacted the demand for physical media, leading to this unfortunate outcome. #Redbox
