Missing Piece of the Puzzle Church Sign

On April 28, 2016 while out and about, I passed this church sign from George Street United Methodist Church in Jefferson City, TN. It is an angled sign and had two messages on it. (click to see the other side)

Missing Piece of the Puzzle Church Sign

Life is a puzzle - Jesus is the missing piece! Revelation 3:20

This church sign reads Life is a puzzle – Jesus is the missing piece! We all know how frustrating it is to do a puzzle only to find out that we have one missing piece. Life is the same way, we cannot be complete without that missing puzzle piece. That that missing piece is Jesus Christ. He is the one that completes us. Sometimes puzzles are hard to put together trying to figure out where pieces go and match up.

We cannot be complete or become that puzzle with only one piece without Jesus Christ.  Check out this blog post about what do you call a puzzle with only one piece? Click here to read that blog post.

This church sign also has Revelation 3:20 at the end. That Bible verse reads,Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

Listen for that knock! That knock on the door is the missing piece! Sometimes that knock can be a faint knock and other times it might be a huge bang on the door. When you do, open that door and let Jesus come in. He will change you into a new creation, creating in you that one piece puzzle and the missing piece no more.

We don’t have to worry about if we can work a puzzle or not, when we are complete with Christ, He completes it for us. He assists us with it and He is with us.
