Jesus is the Reason for the Season

Jesus is the Reason for the Season - During the Christmas Season we hear this quoted a lot. But, what does it truly mean?

A lot of it comes to try to remind us Christmas all about Jesus and to help us keep Christ in Christmas.

Well, all seasons should be about Jesus. As everything should point to Him. He is the only way to Heaven.

Anyways this saying came about because people were saying taking Christ out of Christmas and making it more Pagan or worldly.

I’m not sure when this quote was started, but I remember hearing it all my life. You’ll even find it on signs, shirts, cards, etc.

Why not say Jesus is the Reason for Every Season. That would include daily, all year long and not just during Christmas. After all it is all about Him every day. Not just Christmas or Easter. Or even when we want Him or not want Him.

So Jesus isn’t the reason for the season, but He is the reason for EVERY season!
