Global Christian Relief (GCR) is an organization dedicated to supporting Christians worldwide who face persecution for their faith. With a mission to meet the needs of these individuals, GCR aims to be a beacon of hope and a source of encouragement for Christians in challenging circumstances.

The Mission and Vision of Global Christian Relief

GCR’s mission is to provide aid to Christians suffering due to persecution, helping them remain steadfast in their faith and become a light for the Gospel in their communities. The organization envisions creating the world’s most extensive covert network serving persecuted Christians, mobilizing support for those in need in new and life-changing ways.

The Work of Global Christian Relief

GCR operates in some of the most dangerous countries for Christians, including Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, India, Indonesia, Colombia, and many more. Through partnerships with local organizations, GCR provides emergency relief, trauma counseling, food aid, job training, women and children’s programs, and Bible and Christian literature distribution.

Advocacy and Awareness

One of GCR’s key initiatives is raising awareness about the plight of persecuted Christians. The organization attends summits, such as the IRF Summit, to advocate for those who are persecuted and to bring their stories to a broader audience. GCR also launched the first-ever religious violence database to track reports of violent persecution by date, country, religion, and perpetrator.

Supporting Global Christian Relief

Supporting GCR means standing with millions of Christians who face oppression for their beliefs. Contributions go towards providing aid and letting persecuted Christians know they are not alone. GCR’s work is a testament to the power of faith and the global Christian community’s resilience.

Global Christian Relief is also involved in printing Bibles. They support courageous believers who print, smuggle, and deliver Bibles to strengthen believers with the Word, even in places where it’s forbidden. Their efforts include funding Bible smugglers who transport God’s Word across treacherous landscapes and into the hands of the spiritually hungry. They also help persecuted Christians grow in their faith by ensuring they have access to Bibles printed in a variety of languages and distributed locally.

Additionally, Global Christian Relief has supported an undergroundr printing press in the Middle East, where Bibles are printed and then smuggled through a complex underground network into countries like Iran, where there is a thirst for God’s Word.

In conclusion, Global Christian Relief is a vital organization that plays a crucial role in supporting and advocating for persecuted Christians around the world. Their efforts not only provide immediate relief but also work towards a future where every Christian can practice their faith without fear.

Knowing Christ Today by Dallas Willard — Willard’s work confronts a critical issue in modern Christian thought: the separation of Jesus’ teachings from what is considered genuine knowledge. He argues that this division has led to a catastrophic misunderstanding of what it means to know Christ and live according to His teachings. The book’s aim is to reestablish the core teachings of Christianity—often referred to as “Mere” Christianity—as a substantial and recognized form of knowledge¹[1].
