Baxter spent most of his life studying and teaching the Bible. He was a graduate of Spurgeon’s College in London, where he earned a degree in theology. After completing his studies, he became a pastor in England and later in Scotland.

Baxter’s passion for biblical scholarship and his desire to share his knowledge with others led him to write several books. His most famous work is “Explore the Book,” which is a comprehensive study of the Bible in two volumes. The book provides a detailed analysis of each book of the Bible, including historical context, literary style, and theological themes.
