Holy S****t!

Holy S****t! This word is not used enough or that often in some cases. It needs to be used more! I am talking about ...

Did Steve just say what I think he said?

It’s not what you think! Notice the number of asterisks (*). I am talking bout the Holy Spirit. I got your attention, didn’t I? The same way another Christian Blogger, Words to Ponder by Joe, got me with this title!

Like he mentioned in his post, I am sure you raised on eyebrown, and other things since this is a Christian Blog. But, sometimes, we have to do things to get your attention.

But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.

John 16:13 NASB

We do tend to hear more about God and also Jesus Christ, but do we hear about the Holy Spirit. Our helper. I even wrote a blog post stating the Holy Spirit is like an Alarm System one time. Something to read you all. How the Holy Spirit gives us warnings and signals just like the alarm system does when something is wrong.

Jesus sent us the Holy Spirit our helper and guide. We must be led by the Holy Spirit. After all that is where we get our convection from sin from. As I mentioned the signal comes in that we done wrong, just like a burger breaks into a house.

He also lets us know the truth. Just FYI, the Holy Spirit is inside every born again Christian. When we are saved we receive the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will continue to work in us and through us.

The Holy Spirit also gives us boldness in order for us to witness, evangelize and share the gospel with others. The power of the Holy Spirit is what gives us what we need to say and the boldness to do it.

Holy Spirit part of the Trinity, Godhead. Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

I do encourage you to read what Joe wrote in his article with the same title. Words to Ponder by Joe

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

John 14:26

Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Romans 8:26

Anyways, but Jesus had to go away in order for the Holy Spirit to come. As our helper, convicting us, guiding us and more.

Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10 of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; 11 of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.

12 “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. 15 All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you.

John 16:7-15
