Boat Named Amen Saves Teens After Saying A Prayer – Two teenagers, Tyler Smith and Heather Brown got stranded in the sea after going for a swim.
They were stranded for several hours during Easter Weekend. Both teens are high school seniors. They cried out to God in prayer for help. Ironically God answered their prayers with a boat called “Amen.”
Smith, Brown and a group of their classmates from Christ’s Church Academy went to Vilano Beach to celebrate senior skip day on April 18, 2019.
The two wanted to try to swim toward this island they saw, even though there were no lifeguards on duty either.
They even tried to swim toward the lighthouse, that was hard for them to do too. They began to get exhausted and desperation came in. SO they linked arms to float together. They both believed if they kept swimming, they might end up drowning. That is when they prayed for help.
“When we linked arms, honestly cried out to God, ‘If you’re out there, please send something to save us, around 30 minutes later, a boat en route from South Florida to New Jersey spotted them.

The boat, captained by Eric Wagner, came out of nowhere! The crew of Amen hauled them aboard and gave them blankets to warm them up and returned them to shore.
They even got to speak to Captain Eric Wagner via Facetime, where he told the teens he felt God Sent him to that spot.
“They weren’t even supposed to there, the ocean was really bad that day. The water was really choppy but he and his crew decided to wait it out.”
Tyler Smith
“He obviously has a plan for us, we’re not supposed to leave this earth yet.”
