Audio Adrenaline is a Christian rock band that was formed in 1986 in Kentucky, United States. The band's music has been described as a blend of rock, pop, and rap, with an emphasis on positive and uplifting lyrics. The band’s early albums, such as “Don’t Censor Me” and “Bloom,” were well received by Christian music audiences, but it wasn’t until the release of their third album, “Some Kind of Zombie,” that Audio Adrenaline achieved mainstream success. The album spawned several hit singles, including the title track and “Get Down,” and earned the band a Grammy nomination.

People called them Audio A for short!

Over the years, Audio Adrenaline has gone through several lineup changes, but the band’s commitment to its message has remained constant. The band has continued to release new music and tour extensively, and has won numerous awards for its contributions to Christian music.

One of the most notable aspects of Audio Adrenaline’s music is its focus on social justice issues. The band has been involved in various humanitarian causes, including supporting orphans and children affected by HIV/AIDS through its partnership with the Hands and Feet Project. The Hands and Feet Project is an organization that provides care for orphans and vulnerable children in Haiti, and Audio Adrenaline has helped to raise awareness and funds for the organization through its music.

Another notable aspect of Audio Adrenaline’s music is its willingness to experiment with different styles and sounds. The band’s later albums, such as “Until My Heart Caves In” and “Kings & Queens,” incorporate elements of electronic dance music and hip-hop, while still maintaining the band’s signature rock sound.

One thing that most people may not know about Audio Adrenaline is that the band was originally formed as a cover band called A-180, which performed at churches and youth events in Kentucky in the late 1980s. The band members later decided to shift their focus to original music and changed their name to Audio Adrenaline in 1992.

Additionally, many people may not be aware that the band’s hit single “Big House” from their album “Don’t Censor Me” was actually written by Mark Stuart, the lead vocalist of Audio Adrenaline, when he was a teenager. Stuart wrote the song based on his experience of attending a youth camp and feeling the sense of community and belonging that he found there.

Finally, after the departure of Mark Stuart from the band in 2006, Audio Adrenaline went on a hiatus in 2007, and the band’s remaining members formed a new group called “The Almost.” However, in 2012, the band re-formed with a new lineup and released a new album called “Kings & Queens,” which featured Kevin Max as the lead vocalist.

In conclusion, Audio Adrenaline is a Christian rock band that has had a significant impact on the music industry and on people’s lives. Through its uplifting lyrics and commitment to social justice, the band has inspired countless fans and made a positive difference in the world. Whether you’re a fan of Christian music or not, there’s no denying the passion and energy that Audio Adrenaline brings to its music and performances.

Knowing Christ Today by Dallas Willard — Willard’s work confronts a critical issue in modern Christian thought: the separation of Jesus’ teachings from what is considered genuine knowledge. He argues that this division has led to a catastrophic misunderstanding of what it means to know Christ and live according to His teachings. The book’s aim is to reestablish the core teachings of Christianity—often referred to as “Mere” Christianity—as a substantial and recognized form of knowledge¹[1].
