Casting Crowns is a contemporary Christian music group that has been making waves in the Christian music industry for over two decades. The band was formed in 1999 by youth pastor Mark Hall, who has been the lead vocalist and songwriter ever since. The rest of the band consists of Juan DeVevo (guitar), Melodee DeVevo (violin, vocals), Megan Garrett (keyboard, vocals), Brian Scoggin (drums), Josh Mix (guitar), and Chris Huffman (bass guitar).
