MailChimp for Subscriptions

MailChimp for Subscriptions – I have decided to switch from the built-in email subscription to using Mailchimp.

MailChimp for Subscriptions

I have been using the built-in subscription service using Jetpack. But lately new post and even republished post have not been going out to my subscribers. So I did some digging and talking to other bloggers and they suggested to switch to MailChimp.

So I looked into it and made the switch. I have imported my subscribers from the WordPress, Jetpack and even Feedburner into MailChimp.

Yes, I even read to drop Feedburner for your feed too. So I did that too. I still have my Feedburner account, but I didn’t delete it like it mentioned. It just said do not use it to redirect your feed to.

But, back to MailChimp. If you are not getting my emails, please subscribe today. You can do that by clicking this link. eepurl.com/bzMRwr

or filling out this form below.

Email Format

Emails now will only go out at certain times instead of with each new blog post. I have it set for two times a day. It will only send if there is a new post within those two time periods. So you might get up two emails per day.

That is the only thing I don’t like much about MailChimp. However, you can track stats like how many people clicked a link and more. So it gives you more control too. It can also help weed out bad email addresses and bounces too.

Plus, best of all it is free up to 2,000 subscribers!

You can use MailChimp too! Click here for details!
