WWE Donates $100,000 to Knoxville Public Safety Foundation – WWE Super Star wrestler Kane aka Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs helped with the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) donating $100,000 to the Knoxville Public Safety Foundation.

The Knoxville Public Safety Foundation assists local public safety workers and their families who are going through traumatic events.

On the list include:

  • Knoxville Police Department
  • Knox County Sheriff’s Office
  • University of Tennessee Police Department
  • Knoxville Fire Department

Mayor Jacobs presented the check during a wrestling event at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum on Saturday, January 12, 2019.

The donation was made as part of an agreement with WWE for Mayor Jacobs to make a series of appearances at WWE events.
