Road Signs of the Bible - Wrong Way
Road Signs of the Bible – Wrong Way

In this edition of Road Signs of the Bible, I want to talk about the Wrong Way Sign. We see this sign to warn us that if we go that way we will be traveling the wrong. God gives us a warning sign if we go the wrong way. that is the power of the Holy Spirit, our Guide. The Holy Spirit will warn us when we go the wrong way so we can make a U-Turn and change the path.

Wrong Way

We will feel the guilt when we do wrong. We will get that voice that says we are doing wrong or about to do wrong. That is the Holy Spirit. When we feel that guilt, give it to God, turn to Him, Repent. God corrects those that are His children. He sent us the Holy Spirit as our guide. Let the Holy Spirit be your guide. Totally surrender to God! Holy Spirit is not our control, He is there to make sure we stay on the path of righteousness and help to restore our relationship with Christ when we head down the Wrong Way down a road.

Galatians 5:16 says if we walk in the spirit our flesh will not fall into temptation. But we are as sinners drawn more to flesh. Following the flesh will always lead you down the wrong road. John 14:26 tells us the Holy Spirit is our helper that was sent from the Father, God. Holy Spirit not only guides us, He also teaches and all helps us to remember the ways of the Lord. Even Roman 8:26-27 tells us that the Holy Spirit will stand in our weakness. We often go the wrong way when we feel weak. The Holy Spirit also helps to get us out of situations or if we are going down the wrong way on the road. God always gives us a way out.
