I learned First Aid in the Boy Scouts. I even have been certified several times from Heath Class in High School. Plus privately done and also for when I did security officer job.

This day is held annually on the second Saturday of September each year. Founded by International Federation Red Cross (IFRC) in 2000.

The IFRC was founded in 1919, so this year, 2019, marks their 100th Anniversary.
