Why Evangelize? Why should we go out and evangelize (share the gospel?). After all evangelism is import and we are all called to evangelize!

One reason is sharing Jesus Is not canceled. We must continue to share the gospel until Jesus returns. Besides it is a command to go out and evangelize. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations” (Matthew 28:19).

1. I also believe it is a form of worship too. Worship is just not attending church services, but sharing the Gospel. Making Disciples! That is how we grow, we learn from other believers and we teach other believers. It’s ongoing! We are disciples that make disciples. (A Blog post to come on that).

2. It shows kindness to sinners. After all if you had a cure for something, the kind thing would be share that cure. Since Jesus is the only way to Heaven, we must share it! Sum that up: The cure for sin is Jesus!

3. I believe it can also bring glory and honor to Jesus. There is power in His name!

We must note we are ALL called to share the gospel! That is anyone born again! There are ways that can help make it easier, such as gospel tracts.

The other thing is, we don’t need to worry what to say. The Holy Spirit will guide us and give us what needs to be said. See Luke 12:12.

Everyone we come in contact with is a person we share the gospel with. I mean everyone!

Cliff McManis has a good blog post on why we should be evangelizing.

Even John Calvin gave us reasons on why we should evangelize. Check out what he said.
