A Safe Place for our Military

Welcome Home is a part of Celebrate Recovery aimed to help veterans stuck in hurts, hang-ups and habits. They are an open Share Group for veterans and led by veterans. #WelcomeHome

By it being veteran led and for veterans, it helps recapture that sense of brotherhood and a since of mission. They have weekly meetings to discuss things that is going on in their lives and also to help reach out for their hurts, hang-ups and habits.

Life after the military is not always easy or makes sense. A lot of them lose that sense of brotherhood or being a part of something important. Too often these veterans fill emotions of frustration, isolation, emptiness, boredom, anger, or loneliness.

In an attempt to cope with the pain of these overwhelming emotions, sometimes veterans turn to unhealthy relationships, at-risk behaviors, or substance abuse.

Whether you served during peace time or war, if you experienced combat or never heard a shot fired in anger, all veterans are welcome at Welcome Home!
