Walking Dead

I have never watched nor have a desire to watch the show “Walking Dead” because it has tons of sex even applied, violence and even talks about zombies and creatures that God never created.

Walking Dead

The True Walking Dead are those who are dead in their sin, who have not accepted Jesus Christ. These are the ones walking around in darkness. They would rather walk in dark than in the light. The light is what exposes them (John 3:20), light exposes all the wrongs they do, this is why they would rather walk in the dark and not in the light. They don’t want the correcting hand of God on them. But it is a scary place to be in the “Walking Dead” These are the ones that are not saved, that never accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. The fate for those in the walking dead is damnation. Rejection of Jesus Christ is very serious. We have two destinations we go to after we die. If we deny Christ and reject Him, we face hell. See also Ephesians 2:1-10

Once you accept Jesus as your personal Savior, there will be a change, you are a new creation. The old is gone. You have no desire to do what you use. If you have a desire to keep living the way you are, you may want to evaluate if you truly were saved. You will walk in the light, the light is Jesus Christ, He is the light of the World (John 8:12). With light we never have to talk in darkness. Having the light will help guide you to where you need to go with God. It directs you and it helps you stay on the correct path. If we accept Jesus Christ as our personal savior we have everlasting life with Him and the Father in Heaven. Remember no one can come to the father but through Jesus Christ. Jesus is the only way to Heaven (John 14:6). We must accept Him. Jesus is the one who helps us no longer be part of the walking dead, but the Righteous Living. A living Christ like. Yes, we will fall and we will sin, but having Jesus in us, will not want us to do those.

Call on the name of the Lord and you will be saved. (Romans 10:13)

It is simply up to you. Accept Jesus and Live or reject Jesus and face torment. So what do you decided?

As for me and my house we will serve the Lord. I will accept Jesus and I hope that you will accept Jesus too.

  1. Very well said… But as for just plain entertainment, you should give the show a chance. It is a pretty awesome story. You would have to start from the beginning though. It’s not about the zombies, its about the survival of the people and how they manage to hold on to their humanity. That’s what makes the story great.

    Great post and God Bless,
    I enjoy reading your posts.
