Walked in on a Cadaver Clean Up

Walked in on a cadaver clean up – I was doing my lock down rounds at a community college where I worked as a security officer and that is when I walked in on a teacher cleaning up from her days class. #Cadaver

When we do a lock down, we have to check every classroom door that it is locked. If it is unlocked, we have to go in the class room to make sure it is secure then lock it.

Well, this one day on my lock down, I tested a door and it opened! It has tons of sheeting at the front. I then pass the sheeting, I notice a teacher at a station spraying down a metal bed and seen pieces of a body.

I remember the teacher saying, I thought the school was already closed and no one was here, so I took down the cadaver sign outside. I replied that is okay.

I don’t remember too much of it. I think I remember it being soupy. That might be where she was spraying it down with water and she was almost was finished cleaning it up.

Now, if I was to have walked in while they were pulling out body parts, the students, I don’t think I could have handled that! Just saying!

So I told her to let us know when she is finished so we can secure the building property for the night. I then began to finish the rest of the lock down.

I almost forgot about that until I saw SynDaver (Syntheic Daver Body) on Shark Tank and reminded me of doing a round as security officer. But, I am not sure why, the SynDaver from Myth Busters never made me think of it.

Anyways, just a random memory I am sharing from my past.

Just think of the complexity of the human body. All of the internal parts. How hard Anatomy and Physiology is. You cannot have a weak stomach for that. Anyways, think about how God knit all of that together in us. How wonderfully we are made too.
