Verse Mapping Bible
This Bible is more geared to adults and it is more plain compared the the Verse Mapping Bible for Girls. (At least on the cover). I think I actually like the design and look of that one for the girls much better! Just saying!
As you can say it is just solid color and foiled title on this cloth hardcover. It is a gray color, so it is darker and not as bright and vibrant. But, it did come in a colorful cardboard jacket cover.
This Bible for Verse Mapping works the same way too. by going over the 5 steps for verse mapping too.
- Verse: Select a verse and write it out.
- Design: Record this verse in two or three other Bible translations and underline the words that are the same or different between translations.
- Develop: Look up the Hebrew or Greek meanings for the underlined words and record them.
- Actions: Ask questions. Imagine what it would be like to have experienced what’s happening. Read the verses surrounding this verse and use other study tools to dig even deeper, if you prefer.
- Outcome: What is God saying to you? How does this verse relate to your life today?
The dual-tone colors are darker in this verse mapping Bible than the one for girls. But it still does the same. It has room for notes and/or journaling. It also goes over and shares Strong’s Greek or Hebrew words and helps the adult study on their own too.
